My life goals

My Life Goals

The most important goal that I have set for myself here at Iowa State is to graduate. I have my mind set on Mechanical Engineering. I want to make the most of college, college is not cheap and I want to make the most out of all opportunities. After graduation my dream job would be to work for a major hunting or fishing company. Companies such as Mercury, Triton, Remington, or Bowtech. I have always dreamed of working for one of these companies through my love of the outdoors and using their products.
Here at college I have many crazy ideas of some things I want to do while I am here. One of them would be skydiving. Nothing  would be crazier than jumping out of a plane at over five thousand feet and fall towards the ground in a total free fall until the shoot is pulled.  It is something that I feel like I need to do now while having no other commitments and I’m still young.
Latter on in life, counting on a job in engineering I hope to strive to be a very successful businessman and be financial stable. I hope to have enough money to sustain a family and be happy and not live pay check to pay check. I’m not asking for the most expensive items or millions of dollars. I just hope to have enough to live a happy life and to be there for my kids one day.
Before I die whenever that is, a life term goal I have always had is to hunt all around the world with a bow and harvest trophy animals and having a room in my house where I can sit and feel like I am everywhere in the world at once. I think that I would be really neat to have a place where one can sit and admire ones dedication to the sport and everything I have accomplished.

  1. These are great goals Tony. They say that the best way to be happy in your career is to find something your good at and then find someone who will pay you to do it. Hopefully that is what you will find by incorporating your love of hunting and fishing into your career.

  2. It would be really cool to get a job that can mesh your engineering and hunting passions! Knowing where you want to work already is a good thing because now you can format your classes to better suit yourself for those jobs! I want to go skydiving, too!
